Our partners are the experts and professionals that organize and implement the programs that transform the lives of IRISI scholarship recipients. It is through their dedication and expertise that the real impact occurs.
Uplift Education operates a network of 45 high-performing, tuition-free, public charters schools on 20 campuses. 80% of their students are from low socioeconomic households; 78% of them will be the first in their families to attend a college; and 100% of their graduates have been accepted to college in the past 21 years.
Uplift’s mission is to create and sustain public schools of excellence that empower students to reach their highest potential in college and the global marketplace and that inspire in students a life-long love of learning, achievement, and service in order to positively change their world.
Seeds of Peace operates a summer camp in Maine that focuses on leadership development.
Each summer, hundreds of teenagers and educators engage with each other across lines of conflict - sharing meals, living spaces and lending experiences in a traditional summer camp program. Their approach focuses on three types of change: Personal and interpersonal transformation, and wider societal change. The program shifts attitudes and perceptions and builds respect and empathy.
